Online Services of the FAU:

Did you make yourself Familiar with the following electronic platforms asap? You will need them a lot!

UnivIS: The university’s information system includes a faculty and staff directory as well as a course catalog. It is your primary source of information if you are looking for details on the courses, want to find out where a room is or seek the contact details of university staff members. You can search the UnivIS either directly using a search engine or click through the navigation. You can also put together your timetable here and directly print it off.
Mein campus: This campus management system supports the student administration, exam administration and student admission. You will use mein campus to register for exams, to check your grades and to access certificates, e.g. the certificate of enrollment, and your transcript of records. In addition, there is an event directory. If you have problems with mein campus, have a look at the "mein campus help page".
StudOn: You can use this e-learning platform to register for your courses in order to have access to lecture slides, additional learning material or forums. You can also access your university e-mail account here and there is a possibility to set up groups, data exchange platforms or forums to simplify the communication between students doing group assignments.
Oktis: Here you can register for language courses. You should do this as soon as the registration timeframe starts because some languages are quite popular. (You can find more information about the offered language courses here.)
OPACplus: Here you can access the library catalog and search for books and journals available in one of the FAU libraries. In addition, you can access electronic journals and literature databases, the inter-library loan for literature not available at FAU and the delivery service for essays (FAUdok). All literature search results can be exported from OPACplus to a reference management program, for example Citavi.
